sturgis motorcycle museum hall of fame 2024 Inductee videos proposal

Dear Lacey & Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Hall Of Fame,

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the opportunity to connect with you and delve into the exciting project ahead for the 2024 Hall of Fame Inductees! My name is Destyn, and I am the co-owner of 605 Media & Entertainment, a Black Hills-based video production company. Our focus is on "creating story-driven media for brands, enabling them to differentiate themselves from the competition and boost sales."

After speaking with Lacey on the phone, my primary goal for this project is to craft videos that are as engaging, emotional, and impactful as possible. Since the majority of the visuals in these videos will be still photos, I believe the impact will lie in how we craft them through sound, music, and cuts. I envision these videos being edited in a way that captivates the audience, making the inductee feel proud, honored, and eager to accept their induction—far from a "slide show with voice-over" format.

Enclosed in this correspondence is an outline of the process, along with accompanying pricing. Your insights are invaluable to us, and I am eager to hear your thoughts as we embark on this creative journey together.

Thank you for your time and consideration—I look forward to the possibilities that lie ahead.
Destyn H.

process

Upon selection of 605 Media & Entertainment for the project, we have outlined a clear production process as follows:

  1. Establishing Deadlines: We will set specific deadlines for various stages of production, including the commencement of production, submission of initial cuts, and finalization of cuts.

  2. Client Input: The client will provide us with essential materials such as photos, names, information and links to any usable footage of the inductees.

  3. Interviews: We discussed the possibility of conducting interviews with the inductees to capture valuable soundbites. We are open to conducting these interviews, either independently or in collaboration with the client. Sample questions for these interviews include inquiries about the significance of riding and the envisioned legacy of the inductees for future generations of motorcyclists.

  4. Iterative Editing Process: To ensure consistency and quality across all videos, we propose starting with one video before proceeding to others. This initial video will serve as a prototype, allowing us to experiment with different editing styles and gather feedback from the client. Based on this feedback, we will refine the edits and establish guidelines for subsequent videos, ensuring a cohesive and impactful result.

  5. Finalization and Delivery: Once the first video is approved and finalized, we will proceed to edit the remaining videos. All videos will be delivered well in advance of the ceremony date, allowing ample time for review and any necessary adjustments.

By following this structured approach, we aim to deliver a series of compelling videos that effectively showcase the achievements and contributions of the inductees.

PROPOSAL & BUDGET

The proposed budget for this project encompasses all necessary components, including:

  1. Meetings and Communications: All meetings and communications throughout the production process are included.

  2. Music Licensing and Voiceover: The budget covers the licensing of music and any required voiceover services.

  3. Post-Production/Editing: The entirety of post-production and editing for all videos needed is included in the budget.

  4. Revisions: Up to two revisions for all videos, following the approval of the first video, are also covered.

By consolidating these elements into the proposed budget, we aim to ensure transparency and clarity regarding the project's financial requirements.

Total: $5650
